• Titler - Though, these may be limiting in most editing programs, it will save you time by having the ability to add some graphics or titles right inside the editor.
• Presets - Look for a system that gives you built in video effects, transitions and color correction capabilities. Though some of these should be used cautiously, having a quick fade effect or the ability to color correct footage at your fingertips will speed up your workflow and quality.
• Plugin capabilities - Quality editing systems have the ability to accept third party plugins. These third party plugins will give you extra tools, and abilities to create certain looks or effects within your editing system.
